Looks like someone posted that interview with John Carmack online.
Here's the link if anyone is interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PFUw29U4J8 |

It seems kinda hard to debate the systems when no one has played both. It's turning into a Mac/Pc, Rep./Dem., or Ford/Chevy debate and it sounds like most have made an opinion before even trying it out. I started with the PS2, then got the Xbox and can say they each have their pluses. I would say that I am more of an Xbox guy but I would never rule out the PS3. I think I will hold off on the 360 a bit longer and might even wait for the PS3 to come out before I make a purchase. I would like to see more head to head, unbiased reviews of both systems, if that is possible. The PC, X and PS2 will have to get me by for a while longer.

But really after all that I have seen from E3 I know that all the next gens will do well ,but as of now I see that the 360 has the strongest lineup as of now due to PREY, Gears of War, and others. The PS3 and Wii are both getting great titles as well though so dont count those out. |

I would agree that Microsoft has a huge lead in the Gen 2 stuff. After watching their press conference at E3, holycow. How do they expect us to get any work done. The Live Anywhere could be a lot of fun if it works like they say. Gears of War looked great also. But I like what one of the top guys at Microsoft said about the competition. Talk to him Jan 1st, 2007. After all the hype has worn down and somebody has the choice to buy any system. Which one are they buying? He said that's when they will know how the systems compare and not sooner. Brian
