Epsom salt

How do you dose Mg using epsom salt? Is there any significant effects of adding the Sulfate into the system?

Randy has a new recipe. he changed to mixture of magnesium chloride hexahydrate and epson salts in order to reduce the excess Sulfate. however, standard water changes will take care of the Sulfate before it becomes a problem! feel free to check with Randy in the chemistry forum just to make sure i got it right PLEASE!
