I posted about it on DFWMAS. I'll have to get you a link. And you know what? I still have a bunch of pictures from that trip that still need adding.

I'll have to make a few pages for my site on that too. Geeze! Soo much to do, soo little time. (Btw, if "too" is for "too much", we should get to use "soo" occasionally. )

Well I could have made you the stand for your nano and you could have made me the tank... good trade? I was too broke to go. I would have came back with all my credit cards maxed.

Ah. Being broke sucks. However, much of what we got to see, eat & drink was free this year. You would have only been out the gas to the location, and the entry fee. Even a day pass was pretty reasonable.

Next year, it'll cost you way more. Start saving!

Thanks for asking. I'll see what I can post in the next day or so.

Today, I picked up a Money Cowrie from a LFS in Oklahoma for this tank.

Lynn, I'm sooo tired. Not sleeping at all from Friday 10:30am until Saturday night at 10pm, other than the 10 mins at the rest stop on my way to CRASE - well let's just say it and all the driving put a damper on my normal energy level.

I'll be posting pictures from the event in my 280g thread probably. Or at least link it there so others can find it.

After I got home from work Friday night, I started doing tank stuff that had to be done since I"d be away a couple of days. And I hate leaving a house that is dirty because I don't want to come back to a mess, so laundry, dishes, vacuuming, etc... all got done during the night.

I acclimated the Money Cowrie to the tank, and added a couple of tiny gobies I caught months ago during the collection trip at Port Aransas.

A few aiptasia were 'fed'.

The new Korallia Nano pump is creating some new flow in the tank, but it'll take time to determine if it is enough for that system.

One of the mini carpet anemones split while I was out of town, so now there are 5 on that little rock.

Yes, they lay them quite often. I think they've figured out that I will remove them, because now they are mainly on the silicone seams.

My estimate is 20g. I didn't fill it up from jugs. It pumped in from the sump under my 280g reef.

Hey Mark,

What's the name of the red macro to the left of the Pavona refuge?

I think I have the same in my tank. Just sprouted out of the rock one day and has been growing very nicely.

Is yours sort of a deep pink on the back of the leaf and more orange on the front?

My guess is Dragon's Breath or Tongue.
Anything you could tell me about it would be great.

I never got more information about it although I did try asking for help in the Macro Algae forum. It is Dragon's Breath.

Hey Marc, did you ever get around to posting anything about you collection trip either on RC or you website. I know you have been busy but I am really interested to see them whenever you get a chance. Thanks!

That is on my To Do list. I'll be adding that and the CRASE event to my site in the near future, and will try to remember to PM you the links.

You chose the cut front rather than heating and bending it, any regrets about doing that? Or other things you would change (or have in a 2.0 version that has not yet made it to a thread yet)?

Ver. 2.0 would have a bent front, and a flange on top. I'd probably drill holes around the base for closed loop flow as well.
