nope. coral life needle wheel skimmers are pretty good for their price, if your looking for a hang on back skimmer.

I agree however they are a little demanding on the upkeep. The air intake clogs easily. But as stated, good skimmers for the price, what sized tank?

I have the coralife superskimmer 220 and it works awesome. It gave me alot and I mean alot of microbubbles for like 2 weeks while it was breaking in....but now they are gone.....would recomend it to anyone. My LFS uses 2 of them on each of their display tanks.

they are ok. I have had a 220 for 2years now, the stock pump is weak. I have a mesh modded gen-x2700 on it now and made a 1/2 in venturi for it, cut down the tube inside and put a gate valve on it and its a lot better skimmer now. Ive got it on my 22g nano. If you can find a quality used skimmer for the same price I would go that route.

I had a Cl 65 on my 90g with 15g sump and 10g fuge andf it worked great. The cup just filled a little faster than a big one would. The only resson I am not using it now is my wife suprised me wish a ER135 WOW thats overkill but The wife bought it and Im happy with it. "although its tight in the sump". I do have the Cl if your interseted go to www.KSL.com under classafides and the fish section. I can let it go for less + your shipping

If this sump Is going to be underneath In a stand you will have to mount it Inside the sump, you will be not able to HOB of the sump do to the height.

IME, the CSS is a good HOB skimmer. I have the CS220 on my non-RR 90g. The skimmer works HOB and in-sump, but if my 90 had a sump, I would have a top-notch in-sump skimmer on the tank.

i have a 220 i love it, i have it in the sump under my 25 i ditched the stock pump and picked up a sedra needle wheel model 50, 500 somthing like that and it works great i have been using this set up for about a year and a half and i absolutly love it. i have mine sit outside the sump with the sedra pump going into the wet-dry then i just took a 1 in piece of pvc pipe with will fit nice and snug with no leaks in the return and angled it to the wet-dry. this thing has been pulling out some smelly waste since it started

hope this helps
