New Eel In Town

I got a new fish today, another Ocellated moray eel, a little one about 14"-15"...the wussy at the shop was only feeding it a couple of ghost shrimp a week and it was starving.
When I decided to take it ($19.99 after it bit a clerk) I bagged it myself (literally) by holding the bag in the water and letting it swim in.
When I got it home, I dumped the bag into an empty bucket and fed it three frozen feeders by hand before placing it in its new home, a small tank, until it get big enough not to be a snack for the stonefish.
I timed it between dumping it into the bucket and its first meal, by the way....2 minutes!!!!
Now THAT'S the way I like to introduce my fish! **grin**

Sheeesh...you guys are spoiled AND a tough crowd!
Well....OK, ya talked me into it (the finger is for size reference and that's not THE finger, OK?)
Excuse the dark photo but it's midnight.
Cute lil devil, aint he?
His big brother is Hannibal (the one that bit my finger on capture), and this guy is OC.

Sorry,no pic..they've either changed the files that can be uploaded or somebody goofed...I'll check.

aaahh... you love sharing them and we know it. I am an eel junkie and just can't add any more to my 72 bow.
so you will have to share some pics so I don't have to over load my tank.

LOL!
I needed it like a hole in the head AND I can catch my own of this species, but the shop was being totally stupid.
He started out at $59.99, but dropped rapidly, particularly when they found out 12" can draw blood on a knuckle!

Never would have happened if they'd have fed it.....in my opinion, when the eel is sticking its head out of the water, it's REALLY hungry!
