Sharing a few new Pics after a Rescape

Hello All!!

Sharing a few new pics after I had to remove about half the rock. I have been real unhappy with the color of the coral, and felt that there were some Phosphates locked up in the old rock (I have had 5+ years and originally in a tank that had very high nutrients). ANyhow, here are the results and I am hoping that I will see some better results in a couple of months.

Thanks For looking!!

FTS

Your tank looks great, is it really a 125 gallon? For some reason, it looks bigger than that.

Also, how long have you been BB and what type of lighting do you use?

Your tank must have been really full with all that rock. Did you get the tank custom built? That is definitely not a standard 60.

Here is a before Pic of the right side. You will notice the PVC frame used to hold up the rock. This was one of the biggest mistakes I made in setting up this BB tank. I found that a ton of crap (literally) was getting trapped underneath. That along with the rock that I had used for 4+ years I believe was leaching Phosphate into the water.

Anyhow, here is the before and after:

Before:

After:

Yea I had the tank custom made. It measures 4' x 2' x 12" high.

It was originally made to be a frag tank, but I thought it might make an interesting display tank.

Thanks for the comments.

Nice tank, the only thing that gives away what size it is is how large the Nanos look in there.
