Question Old Acrylic! How do you get the paper off

Please help, I don't have any finger nails left.

I would try dampening a small section and try to let it sit. The glue most likely has dried out and that is your problem. Heating with a blowdrier while it's damp may also help, come to think of it that may work all by it's self. If all else fails i am sure that rubbing alochol would work. I'll see if I can think of anything else.

ok it softened the glue.........now I have big sticky boogers where my fingernails used to be.

Don't try using rubbing alcohol! Alcohol can cause acrylic to crack. I have seen it happen before.

helpt with getting the paper off but left the glue..........I tried GOO GONE and it worked but how do you clean it after?

Is this on the inside or outside of the tank? If it is on the outside, I would think that a wet rag should take the goo-gone off alright... Haven't really dealt with that stuff before so I don't know.

It works great on all sticky stuff, made from citrus oil.......

Im making parts for shelfs to go in my prop tank.

Ill just take it in a hot shower it should be good. I think.

soak in small amount of vingegar mixed with water. Scrub and risne with clean water.
