Who makes the best RODI system to purchase? KENT, SpectraPure, Captive Purity??? Thanks

Filterguys makes awesome products

I bought an ebay one, its a 5 stage 100gpd and I get 0 TDS out with 56 TDS in.

Doesn't much matter, but make sure you get a DOW FILMTEC membrane in it. Best there is.

Watch out for the guys slinging membranes with "Material made by DOW". If it doesn't say DOW Filmtec, it ain't.

i have a 6 stage filterguys and im very impressed with the quailty- you will not be disappointed at all.

eitherway the dow filmtec membrane is the most important part

I agree that the Spectrapure system is really a nice unit. I've been using one for about a year, after replacing my original decade old spectrapure RO/DI.

im in the market for a new RO unit(my first actually), i have heard great things about filterguys on another forum. after going on their site the prices are reasonable.
I've never heard of the DOW filmtec, but will not that at purchase time. Also is RO good enough or does it need to be RO/DI?

RO is likely adequate for some circumstances, but definitely not if you have chloramine in your water supply (ammonia will be a main effluent product) or if the dissolved copper from your pipes is near the high end of households.
