i really like mine it absolutly glows under actinic, when i got it two years ago it looked like the branching type the size of my thumb. it quickly encrusted over the rock i mounted it on to 6" or more diameter. i ended up breaking it and the rock up to get it off. now i put it on the sand and it formed a really cool shaped hemisphere and started branching. it will remain on the sandbed for me. as for stinging i accidentally left an acan sitting to close to it one night after moving things around to vacuum the sand. acan won!

we have the branching green and a branching tourquios. They have other SPS close to them, but seem to be happy with their neighbors.

But I keep my hydno a good 4 inches from any acros. I originally bought the hydno as a form of Xenia control lol
Haha I know, I have a new respect for candy canes now.
