time for another update.
the system has finished cyclign and i've added 9 snails and 2 small peppermint shrimp to the tank. i've also added some corals...some australian lps pieces including a small brilliantly colored lord acan colony, a shamrock green scoly, an orange and an crush acan echinata frag. i've also added some frags - neon orange zoas, neon green zoas, an orange ricordia yuma, and a red mushroom. this morning i ordered a pair of small true captive bred southern erectus horses from seahorsesource.com! they will ship on monday and should be here tuesday morning. i'm going to keep them in a bare bottom 10 gallon for at least a few days, per seahorsesource's recommendation. this will allow me to ensure they are eating and pooping as they should be. i'm super stoked! here are some pictures of the corals: |

we have seahorses!!! they are southern erectus from seahorsesource.com - and i couldn't be happier!
good news - they ate 5 minutes after being in the 10g holding tank! this holding tank is tied into the bigger system. they are being held in this tank because they have never seen liverock or sand before, so the transition will be easier for them in the small bare bottom tank they are accustomed to. i was instructed to make sure that they are eating (check) and pooping properly, then after a few days introduce them to the display. |

Wow. Looks great! That back wall will look awesome once it gets some Coralline Growth. Are you planning on adding any Macro to the main tank for the Seahorses?
