URI alternatives

Are there any other vho bulbs out there besides URI. I am looking to replace my bulbs and want to use URI actinics and some other vho 50/50 and 10k. I don't like the looks of the URI 50/50 and 10k's.

I remember reading a thread a while back about another brand of vho that was priced pretty reasonably....Can't find it when I need it though...lol

thanks

Do the coralife have thwe internal reflector, I can't find tht info at the places to buy them. I am replacing the bulbs this time around then in 6 mos. I will have 2 x 250w mh to replace all but the actinics...So I am looking for a cheaper alternative to the 24.00 price tag. I remeber seeing bulbs with internal reflectors for 16.99, they were a knock off brand but some people ran them to see and said they were fine. I just can't find the site info now, I had it saved but my PC crashed and I lost everything...Oh well I guess I can live with 2 uri actinic white and 2 true actinics....Just hate to pay 35.00(with shipping) a bulb if I don't have to.

thanks

Look at the URI aqua D line. A few bucks cheaper. No internal reflector.

These are the ones you are thinking of,
www.aquariumlamps-factorydirect.com

I have been using both the actinic and 50/50 95w bulbs w/ internal reflectors for about six months and am happy with the preformance as well as looks. I beleive they are about $13 each.

YEP.. Thats them... Of course someone would remember them as soon as I went another route...lol

I ended up getting 2 t5 actinic and 2 t5 10k's from a company in canada for 44.95 shipped....At that price I couldn't pass up the chance to try t-5. I still got to order some reflectors but the bulbs are on the way.

anyone know a good reflector under 20 bucks..lol

I think www.reefgeek.com has icecap reflectors for $21-$24 each.
