These are not as nice as some of the others but they were a hitch hiker.

They grew out of a completely bare skeleton on a piece of live rock in my first saltwater tank.

Dang! You couldnt buy that for less than $150 at the very least! Same morph I picked up at a raffle, had 11 heads and saw the same one and size retailing for $120 from the guy/store I won it at the raffle from! Growing that from bare bones would be much more rewarding than scoring a couple exotic ones! Well done

Thanks Justin. It is funny, for the longest time I had no idea what I had. I thought they were some kind of fuzzy mushroom. Even when I found out what they were I had not idea they were worth that much.

Closed Brains and Blastos are easy to take care of. What kind of lighting do you have in your tank?

What's the Tek Fixture? T5's? Your Blastos will do well under PC. They like some flow too.

Speaking of crowded blastos...... I have a peice that is so crowded its ridiculous. We are talking at least 25 heads...at the very least and they are very very plump heads. Is it alright to just leave it be...i have never fragged a blasto and prefer to let this peice do its own thing if I can. I kind of need to stop feeding it PE twice a week as it is going insane.----I just realized that after saying something like this I am going to have to snap pics of it too,. which I will.
