Fresh water tank decorations safe for SW?

For example, some of the plastic or ceramic items. I know that's not the look of a Marine tank, but I got a FOLR tank.

they will be fine...however, in a 29g tank with 30lbs of LR, your plastic or ceramic item will be the new home for your fish debris.IMO, Having plastics in your tank is fine, but just keep in mind that sooner or later, those plastics will collect debris.

I don't trust them myself, I had some in a QT tank for a week, the fish was doing worse and worse then i removed the plastic and he began to improve. he is now happy in my DT.

please note- there are far to many factors in play to blame it on the plastic decor---that is just what i choose to blame it on :c).

You might want to check what they are made of. You would not want them to be made from Mattel. I personally think they are ugly, i like saltwater tanks because they look natural.

If you use fake plants. Get the silk ones. If you have fish that can eat them the plastic ones can kill them

I think all I wanted is that "No Fishing" sign. And not any fake plants or coral.
