Tick...tick.... tick
I am watching the clock tick slowly to the 6 week mark.
Noticed salt grains on hippo tang. 92 corner set up for hypo. Hippo tang is visibly infected moved all fishes out of the 120 reef into hypo treatment. Luckily had bio filter established. My question:How long into hypo should the trophont disappear from the fishes flanks? |

Took about 6-7 days for my coral beauty to stop showing signs of ich after I got my salinity to 1.009.

You should allow 6-8 weeks in hypo to be sure both the fish and the treatment tank are free of the parasites.
