AP24 Question
How Does everyone hook up their mj1200 for the return because i want to get rid of the stock pump because it seems very weak

its not a skimmer the return pump that runs from the second back chamber to the output into the display the stock 1 seems really weak

I have a BioCube 14, but imagine it might work the same -- add the output tube to the small horizontal output area of the MJ1200, secure with a clamp if necessary, then tube up to the output jack on the AP and do the same.

Take the old pump off the plastic tubing and hook up the MJ. You are going to have to use the venturi attachment between the hose and the pump otherwise the inside of the hose will be too big and fall off the pump output.

I know this is a bit off topic, but... I really like the Rio 6HP pump I put in my ap24. 350 gph and only 15 watts. Plugs right in.

what i did was put a piece of 1/2" i.d. tube on the output of the pump first. then the stock tubing over that then ziptie it.
