above or below the sump

I love this orange tank...and a green mandarin would look great. Irish folks love orange and green together. My question is should this go below or above the sump so the pods will not be killed.

go below because if u go above the sump the pods will get chopped up in the impeller of the pump. i found out from experience. that way if u go above u can gravity feed it in to the tank

Where do you get a garfield like that I would just use that for your sump...

I want a bigger sump than the tank thats the reason for the question........above does make sense.
