I use them on my 20g and 45g. They skim a bunch and really don't give me any trouble. For $80 its worth a shot. If you have a sump, try an in sump model, they tend to skim better than HOB. I've used Seaclones (junk) and a Tunze 9002. Like the Remora more than both of those.

I have one and it works great...of course I've never had another skimmer so I have nothing to compare it to.

Works great, trouble free, easy to setup and run, skims a lot of junk out of the tank.

it would be a good choice. A pro would be better, IMO, but the normal aqua-c would work well. I had a pro running on my old 40 and it was great. I ended up upgrading, but still liked what the remora was doing.

i own christian's remora and LOVE it. and also, if your interested, i have a preskim box for it. it hides the pump, skims the surface, and has a chamber to keep bubbles form entering the tank. $40, bu im flexible on the price. its supposed o increase skimmer production by something like 20%? not positive, bu its somewhere online.

let me know

It's worth $80 IMO. Will be fine on a 29g.

Nice little skimmer for a 29. I'd go for it. I run them on three of my tanks (different models) and I have been happy.
