Electrician help needed
I remember seeing an electrician on the forum that was kind enough to offer help to use electrically challenged reefers.
Anybody know who this person is? |

Also everything electrical has smoke locked inside. The thing is it is very bad when you let the smoke come out.

I'm not sure what will happen with so many elect in one place...here goes -
I found a MH light for sale on RC that is 230v 50/60hz. Would you experts wire this as a 220 or convert this to a 110? I'm wondering about long term operating (elect) costs and will it have an impact on the lights performance converted to a 110? Thanks |

If it has a multi tap ballist you can change it to a 110volt light. Your electricial usage should be the same. if you have a business with a demand meter you would want every thing 220 or 3 phase as your bill would be partially base on start up load. It should not matter on residenital. At least not in WV BTW light preformance will be the same either way. Lineman in WV

I Agree. There are no advantages to 220 lighting in your home.
