Trip to Birmingham

Hey Guys
I am coming up there in a few weeks from Destin to visit a friend.
I was wondering what the best LFS there are around the Hoover area ?
I am looking for a new tank so would like to find a place that sells nice ones with Cabinets and Canopys..looking for a 90rr.
Also corals if I see naything nice.

Thanks in advance for the info
If you could just give me a few names that would be somewhat close to that area.

Scott

Aquarium Designs is in Hoover, They usually have the biggest selection, their prices are ok. Aquarium Imports, also in Hoover behind the Outback on Hwy 231 is pretty good too, They build their own custom stands and canopies that look real nice, you should check both of these out.

I have not been impressed with either of those stores lately... and have been to both.

Saris had some serious issues with their SPS system... everything was necrosing last visit I made, and AD was ok, just not as big of a selection since Philip left...

Im not saying this because I work at a LFS, just saying that as a hobbiest...

Thanks agaon guys for the suggestions. I will give them a try.
I am sure they are all much better then what we have down here in Destin. Proegressive Marine is the closet that you can get the good corals. I will stop buy and see what I find, Like I said I am relly looking for a new tank/stand and canopy so maybe I can find one while I am there

Thanks again for all of your help.

If you don't mind the drive back down through Montgomery, stop by Aquarium Fantasies on Atlanta Highway. The have quite a few tanks in stock always and all are RR. I was there last week and they had a few 90's with a nice selection of stands. Just a though.

Good Luck
