Is there a way to get rid of the 90 in the back of the AP24?

I have a MJ1200 in the back chamber, but I still don't think it is enough flow. I know the 90 elbow is slowing it down some. Is there any way to not use it? I have tried using tubing without it, but the tubing always kinks.

the 90 shouldnt slow it down it doesnt have any obstructions so it cant slow it down that much
the only thing i could see slowing it down would be the length of the tube in the back

i put a 1200mj in mine and it does fine i put a hydor on it though makes a big differance

I just got rid of my hydor on my MJ1200 because it kept locking up. I added another MJ900 and the combination of flow is pretty good.

Are you running just the mj1200? I am going to be running the MJ900 and the stock pump running out at two different locations. Why not just add a 2nd pump?

I really don't want to drill any holes.

Can you use that with a closed top AP?

Oh not sure. I don't know how much clearance you have. I have the Sunpod with my AP24. Doesn't look like it sticks up more than about an inch over the wall.

I think you can as long as it is pushed all the way back....so the back of nozzle is against false wall. I believe it would give you enough clearance so it wouldn't hit the splash guard.
