Talking Little Ricordias Everywhere! Advice Please

Good Sunday all! Ok so lastnight I searched this forum on Ric fraging. I found a lot of helpful info. I fraged 3 polyps of my favorite blue Rics by sliseing them like a Pizza. Just following the instructions I found on here So I believe I got a piece of the mouth on each frag. Hope so anyway. It was about 1:30 AM this morning and I had a few beers in me . So I put the frags in a shallow tupperware dish. Wife don't know yet . With some sand and rubble, THEN COVERED IT WITH NETTING AS INSTRUCTED.
Ok my question is this. Will the frags attach by themselves by just sitting in this dish of rubble? Or do you actullay have to wrap the netting over the rubble kind of holding the frag in place with a wubbaband
I hope not. I am really tired after surgery on these beauties, and kind of hung over from last night So should I secure them to the rubble better? Or just let them float in the dish with the sand and rubble and wait it out? Any advice would be very helpful
Thanks a bunch

They are in a low flow area just sitting on the rubble so all should be well. Do you think it matters if they have a piece of the mouth or not?

I have performed such pizza surgery before & each peace of mouth has grown into a whole one, a whole new animal.

Gregb: Do you let them just sit in the rubble dish? Or do you attach them more securely useing rubberbands and netting? Mine are just sitting in a rubble dish with some sand and rubble waiting to attach by themselves. Has this worked for you in the past?

So do they have to have a piece of the mouth? Some of them turned out on the small side with no mouth. Will thet attach and grow new mouths?

I just jumped into this and split my orange ric

Split mine into 3 - first one still attached to original rock, and the other two are "quartered". I'm pretty sure they have some part of the mouth. I felt kinda bad 'cause the ric was oozzing a bunch of stuff

Hopefully, it'll be OK in the next few days.

they must have a piece of the mouth to regenerate, that is their gastro tract. It will take at least 7 days, but I have always left them for 14 days untouched to make sure they have a good grip.. Another trick is, after you cut the head off (to cut up into pieces), wait a couple of days for the stem to heal over and then slice it down the middle about half way down. It will heal over in a couple of days and start to grow into 2 stalks with 2 heads ....

Mine was attached after 4 days (though one piece kept falling off the rock and was attached 2 days since it last fell off the rock). I guess it depends, but the longer you keep it un-touched, the better I think. I had to move them because my new shipment of zoos came
