Ro Additives For Salt Mix

I have always been lucky enough to have real salt water at hand but I was wondering if anybody added anything to their RO water before they add their salt mix? De-ionised water has alot of minerals taken out of it. I also notice a lot of people use a straight salt mix instead of the true reef crystals in reef aquaria. So what do you lot out there have to say? I cant hear you.

There is no need to add back anything to purified water, IMO. Most of the commercial additives for that purpose are for freshwater aquaria.

I'm not sure what you mean by a true reef crystal. Do you mean the brand of salt mix, "Reef Crystals"?

I put straight Instant Ocean into my RO/DI water and use it as is.
