thats why I linked the cheap greenhouse plan and made note of how to use greenhouse type plastic with the pvc and to double inflate it ..also one could additionaly cover the vats with plastic inside the greenhouse on frigid nights

I dont see why anyone would just have it outside with no protection from the elements or ambient air heating source

as well the radiant heat source I mentioned would work...insultarp is not theroy but fact I have seen it melt deep snow on driveways with the same method I mentioned in the above post

the poster mentiond some type of shelter(low profile shed with window) that Im sure he planned to heat/cool in some way

BTW did you even read about insultarp? it is a high grade RADIANT BARRIER so surface area losing heat/cool is not as big a issue

even if i did bury something I'd use it as a solution to heat loss

exhuast fans should cool the vats in whatever structure or even a fog cooling fan in something small

but if I were to harness geothermal it would be with a water source heatpump since I have a well
