anyone with a fire shrimp?

How do these guys do say compared to a cleaner shrimp? I want to put a small one in my biocube but i want to make sure they aren't going to get like a coral banded shrimp and start nipping at fish... any advice? thanks

They are very passive, kind of shy. They may try to clean your fish, but that's about it.

Nanogurl's Fire Shrimp is the only one I have ever seen actually cleaning. Now her's was cleaning the inside of her snowflake eel's mouth...

Mine just hides and leaves the cleaning to my skunk shrimp.

They are beautiful when you get to see them.

Very passive and shy, if it can hide it will. Mine hangs out in a cave with the 2 cleaners, I haven't seen him do it but maybe he'll learn by watching.

Mine cleans my purple tang. I have seen him ride the tang around the tank.

I have two. They both hide all day except at feeding time! Neither clean fish. Very striking though.

Mine loves to clean my clowns. He mostly hides under my hairy mushrooms and waits for a fish to swim by to clean. He's never been agressive, he was very shy in the beginning (I've had him for over 2 years), and he hides after he molts for about 24hrs, then he's back to normal.

I had a pair and they killed 3 cleaner shrimp. My pair was always out in the open and would always be all over my hand any time it was in the tank. They had to clean any new frags I glued down (they glued their claws shut a few times too). They were aggressive cleaners too, they would jump on my fish if they were close enough. Fish didnt mind though.
