Odd Fish Behavior

I haven't seen this behavior before, I have two damsels, They usually swim around this time of day and are all over the tank. So I tried to feed them, nothing, they just sit there on the bottom. One is hiding in the live rock, the other is outsie as if it was stadning gaurd.

One is a Chrysiptera cyanea Blue Devil and the other isn't. Not really sure which specific one it is. Only thing that I have done different in the past couple days is start using B-ionic and I did a water change.

I am going to test the water in just a few...

Think I found the problem.... I checked my salinity.... It was at 1.026 and it normally is kept at 1.023 to 1.024... I added some water to bring it back down... I guess time will tell?

Well whatever happened, I lost both fish tonight. SO now the chances of my snail eggs to hatch and live will be greater. (Tryin to find a positive thing here) I went to test my ammonia and trites, but my test kit is and API for the freshwater tank. So tomorrow I will go find me another saltwater kit....

Very odd. I bought test kit.

Ph 8.3
Ammonia - 0
Nitriate - 0
Nitrate - 5
Calcium - 360
Phosphate .3 (have a little algea so this is a little higher.

everything looks to be where it should be.

All that I did was a water change the night before. I opened a new bag of salt. Wife says they was old, but losing them both at the same time I find suspicious. I added some hermits about two weeks ago, maybe they brought in a disease?

All my inverts look good. Before I add any more fish, what precautions do I need to do?

What are you measuring your salinity with? 1.026 is right on but you may have stressed them with a significant salinity change.

Using a instant Ocean floating arm... It was verified by the LFS with a refractometer and it was correct. I thought that may have been issue... going from 1.024 to 1.026 too fast during the last water change.
