Used Euro-Reef or Brand New Octopus NW-150 Skimmer?

Would you recommend a used Euro-Reef CS6-1 Skimmer or a brand new Octopus NW-150 Protein Skimmer?

Both would be very good skimmers. It's really a 50/50. Euro-reefs come with moded pumps but I have never looked closely at an octopus pump so can't really comment there.

used doesn't bother me. I own a euro reef and have had great luck with it. I can't vouch for the other one though because I have never seen it nor had one.

I just recently purchased the NW-150 and its been working great rite out of the box. Only mod I did was remove the washer on the suction side of the pump. Great skimmer for the price.
