Upgrading Halide from 150-250

I am in need of some assistance form any one who has had experience wiring or upgrading metal halides. I currently am running the Sunpod 48" with 2, 150 watt metal halides and am wanting to upgrad the lights to 2, 250 watt halide. I was wonder if I would be able to remove the current ballasts installed inside and replace them with 1 dual 250 watt HQI ballast and rewire the 150 connectors with the 250 connectors from hello ligths listed here:
