been where 6 months never seen...

i have been here 6 months and never seen a pic or description of this type of Anemone. its still at the LFS but wondering about it.

this Anemone is 2 tune brown striped, w/ short arms. the arms are banded and where its banded the arms are thicker. the foot is orange in color.

sorry for just a description. i dont think the LFS would like it if i brought in a digi cam and took pics. even if i had a digi. cam.

has anyone seen this type of Anemone and know anything about it?

I'm not certain what you mean by "arms" If you are talking about tenticles it sounds like a striped carpet anemone to me. An LFS in my area has some beautiful ones right now but I don't have any place to put one and I would be afraid of it eating my prize fish.

They are so good looking that Fishhub and I were looking at small tanks to house one and a couple of tank raised Ocellaris who were wallowing in them. Then I came out of lala land and realized I do not feel like setting up another tank right now - not even a 10 gal.
