Hi Chris,
I actually got a couple of the small acan frags from you a few months ago. They are growing out nicely. |

Thanks guys for the positive comments. I googled ouphyllia and I don't think it is, from the pictures I've seen. Still a mystery I guess.

I've got the same pink micro and correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe that transparent pink color is a color that's bleached. Since then, the polyps have gotten a more solid pink instead of transparent, hairy instead of smooth, and contains green stripes under atinics.

Yup, actually that transparent pink turns solid pink than it turns Red....
I got that morph long time ago and turn it to Red/Green not only me good number of people who got them long time ago they all turn to Red/Green. : ( |

yep, i had that morph for a little over a year and it definetely does not stay pink. for the majority, acans and micros dont stay that hot pink. ive had about 5-6 different color morphs and as they mature and grow they turn red. i did however have one morph that stayed a hot pink, it's my fav. hehe.

I, too, bought one of the 'pink' micros. Both myself and the guy I got mine from (he got two by mistake, so sold me one) had issues with them. Both almost died off. I'm not sure how his is doing, but mine is finaly recovering, but is still very small (polyps are about half the size of the skeleton...). I'll see if I have a pic somewhere. It is going to be red and green, but has not filled in completely. I guess I got taken on that one...
