Helped out fellow reefer with some fragging training and was rewarded with a huge colony of these guys, the polyps are huge, about the size of a silver dollar...Thanks Rob!

Still need to clean the glass a little better and setup a staging area to get a good photo, the colony is on a nice sized piece of branch LR in the shape of a twisted "L'

I'm finding these paly's to be very interesting, the texture, color, shapes & play on shadows make for some intriguing photos.

The best way to learn how to use a camera is to find a subject like this and then start clicking, changing settings as you go, compare, change setting again etc till you start to get a feel for the best settings. Took me about 2 months of intense playing around before I could just walk up to the tank and have a good idea of what settings to use.

These polyps are huge and it's difficult to get the details as the tentacles move around a bit
