What kind of Salt do you use and why...?
Getting ready to downsize to a smaller setup from my 170gal system to a 20gal. Im always used crystal sea salt, no special reason why just have been from the start so i havent changed. Just courious what kind of Salt you guy's are using and why. THanks.

I've always used Instant Ocean because that's what was first recommended to me, and I've read pretty good reviews. From time to time, I'll buy Reef Crystals (made by Instant Ocean, I believe) if it's on sale because it's dosed with extra calcium.

I have been using Aquarium Systems salt for quite sometime now, either Instant Ocean or Reef Crystals. I have tried some other brands, but have not been impressed and always switched back. My latest experiment is with Tropic Marin Pro Reef, but I have not used enough yet to notice a difference one way or the other.
