some student did a design for a "retro" camaro. looked good. but GM has a policy about not using non-union workers, etc.

i just think they went too much retro on the new muttang. its a shame most of the GM brass doesn't have a clue these days.

GM knows what they are doing with the Corvette, that's it. The SSR is a disappointment. I like the GTO but it is a little plain.

thanks DJ88.

thrlride - the GTO is a little plain but don't forget that when it 1st came out, it was a bigger engine package. no wild graphics or colors. maybe Pontiac will get back on track w/ the Solistice

Not too much retro, just right on the 05 as long as they put on the grill mounted fogs, that completers the look.
I love the look of the 05, wanna see what the options are by next year, but as the owner of 3 Pontiacs, the GTO looks like 2 of my GrandAms so what if they stuffed left over chevy motors in em

I just hosted it on one of my servers and then linked to it by doing the following.

[*IMG]http://members.shaw.ca/dj88/pix/http://members.shaw.ca/dj88/pix/My%20Pictures0004.jpg[*/IMG]

TO have it appear all you do is remove the *'s

That help?

A little bit of a beating on the car will make it stronger.

OK your redeemed. Had me worried for a moment.

DJ, come on down. Yea she has a nice truck too but being that it's got a 6" lift and 35" tires and she's only 5' nothing, it makes it a bit hard for her to climb in and out of with a dress on. Of course I don't mind it.

Chevy II, I hadn't seen that one but where do I sign up to get one? Man, with all fiberglass body and my little motor, that would be one screaming machine.

Never mind, I just saw the price. Talk about sticker shock. Think I could get a better deal doing it myself.

Well, I tried like heck not to like it.

My new excuse is that they're too expensive!

So I hit New England Dragway last night for the first time this year. Not very busy and not that many cool cars but it was a fun night. I got a few runs in and my best was a 14.4 something. Not my best times but a blast anyway. I need to spend some money to get this puppy into the 13's. Got too many things on my plate right now to be blowing cash on mods but someday . . .

Anyway, some pics:

Me and my buddy lining up for a race.

My friend Steve, on the right, who owns the mineral grey Stang and Brian. My band mates as well.

WRX! Damn fast cars. I had the pleasure of racing one last night. Well, wouldn't call it a race since he kicked my rear end! 12.9

Happy to say I beat the little Honda! No offense Honda fans . . . and Tanya!

Poor Mach I had some issues last night. Spilled something all over the track and was out early.

Why waste the modification cash when we can buy a perfectly good WRX STi or an Evolution VIII that'll come ready to race in the 12's straight off the showroom floor? LOL!
