Seio Powerhead

O.K. So y'all convinced me to go with the Seio power heads, but I am having trouble deciding between 2 of the 820 gph or 2 of the 1100 gph. I have a 75 gal tank with about 100 lbs of live rock. I would like to go with the 1100, but I am scared it will turn into a sand storm. What do yaâ€™ll think?? Where have you found them cheapest?? Thanks

i had a 820 in my 75, no sandstorm but it did beat up my softies a little. the 620 is a little better.

If you have SPS then get two of the 1100's. If you dont have SPS then go for two of the 820's.

I have love the 820s that I run in my 90g SPS! Highly recommend.

Is it me or do the SEIOS loose more than 1/2 their thrust in a week or 2?
I am having the same experience with the Tunze 6060. When I first bought & installed the 2, they were trashing water as if it were a hurricane & now it's a more gentle & steady flow.

I am inclined to recommend the 1100, it will be more like a 500-600 once it brakes in?

How often do you guys clean them?

I just received a 1500 and an 1100 last week and what power! It's actually way too much for my 110, even turned all the way down. My lps are not happy at all.

Thanks guys, I think I will go with the 820's and order them tonight. I don't have any recent pics of my tank but will try to post them soon. Thanks for all your help.
