Green circles
What is the little green circle stuff on my tank glass. I don't have a picture of it but it look like the same thing in this thread photo but a algea green color. I know it prob. some kind of algea but what?

If you are referring to the pink stuff in this thread, its called coralline algae. If yours is green it could be green colored coralline (I got some on some Kahlini (misspelled) liverock). FWIW --landlord Last edited by landlord; 12/19/2007 at 10:04 AM. |

I have some little green circle specks on my glass and I'm pretty sure its not coralline. I don't have any green coralline on my rocks, only purple. If its only on your glass and not your rocks I would venture to guess it is just algae and not coralline. Either way, just scrape it off.
