BTW...that's not a PC related problem...that's a problem either with email account of whomever you are sending to or a problem with your ISP and their ability to send email.

Do you get that message on every email you send? Or just for certain email addy's? It should come with an attachment with the text of the original email in it.

Badically, that's the email system responding letting you know that something is wrong and they can't deliver your message, but they are going to keep trying to for 5 days...then it will give up and you'll get a failure message back from them.

Mike,
I have an auto respond in REEFNEST@REEFNEST.COM and everytime I get an email that I have a reply it sends RC an email and RC is rejecting it. I talked to my computer buddy and he explained it to me. I thought my computer had a bulk mailer that was trying to send emails to RC list (don't know much about computers )... Now I understand that my auto respond is doing that. Thanks Mike..

I assume you've turned of that auto-respond, if not, please do.

Thanks and glad you've figured this out.

Thanks Mike,
I will do that ASAP and the funny thing is that my partner who has auto respond sent me an email and mine sent him a reply and so on and on.. good he caught it or my mailbox would've been full and so his.

We recently had a sales rep at our office set an auto-reply when he was out of the office on vacation. The problem was, he also set a auto-forward for certain emails, but messed up the send to email address. So after he left the office and some broadcast emails came out, his machine went into an infinite loop of responding and forwarding (to a bad email that bounced back) and auto-responded to again....etc...repeat. It brought our email server to its' knees. Knocked out 700 peoples email for about 7 hours.

Fun office tricks to annoy your IT guy.
