Clown fish question and lighting question.

I bought three clown fish in one day. I introduced them to my tank on Monday. They seem to be okay till now, but i bought them flakes for food and only one of them eat. Then i went yesterday and bought some brine shrimp and still only one would eat and thats not the same one that eat the flakes. I also need to know what kind of light i would need for my tank because i want to get an nem for my clown fish. I went through some websites and found a 36 inch Current USA Nova Extreme 2x39 watt T5 HO 10K/460nm. I'm wondering if that would do? Any advice would help thanks.

either go with a t5 or MH setup. what size tank is it cause you may be perfect with that setup if the height of the tank is not to high. The food situation i would just alternate and check and make sure that they do eventually I think it was a couple days till my clowns got adjusted and ate regularly.

When I added my two clowns...false percs, I had the same problem with them eating. One would only eat the flakes and the other would only eat the frozen brine.

Both were tank raised and from the same tank. Within a week, they both seemed to have enough time to adjust and both now readily accept flake, frozen or live with no problems at all.

The only problem you may have is one of those clowns will most likely become the "3rd man out" and wind up being killed depending on the size tank.

It sounds like your new to this hobby and your tank is new also. Anemones should not be put in tanks that have not matured. Minimum time is 6 months but really more like a year.
