That is the way it was done last time. I personally set up deals with my partners to put two or three frags in. Figured their was room in the thermos, might as well get more frags.

That's obviously up to you and the people you'd be paired up with.

Well should I grab this beast by the horns and start it rolling, or does someone else want to? The only concern I have now is the heat. I wonder if we should wait until mid september to do it? Any thoughts.

Isn't the whole idea behind using a thermos is because it's insulated? I haven't used one so I don't know.

But by all means go ahead since you seem to have some knowledge of doing this from past experience I presume.

However, I'd like to pair up with you as I've seen some of your zoo's.

might not be a bad idea to wait.. the heat on the eastcoast will be a killer, that would give everyone time to frag and let heal, or even get a small frag or two to trade if they want in. what do the rest of you think?

Chevy does pose a good point. the thermos is insulated, and while that won't prevent it from heating up, it will help. We should get a list of people who want to do this togeather, along w/ location. and then start paring up. I thin if scribe has no objections, I"ll also partner up w, him to trade a frag, so I have 1 slot left

I think it may be better to wait now that I think about it a little more. I think that the heat in parts of the country right now is pretty extreme. Maybe we can start organizing in early September. If your seriously interested about participating in this go ahead a pm your name and address (i'll keep a list), and make two frags. This will give them some time to heal, it will also give more people a chance to get in on the swap. I'll try to keep bumping this thread so people see it.

I have this feeling if we all post pics of what we are trading people will pick and choose what they want, and some people who are not satisified with the selection would decide not to trade. I have a lot of colors in my zoanthid collection, chances are I may get a duplicate.but I don't mind.

posting pics is probably going to cause some problems, cause not everybody has a vast array of zoas to choose from. I think if you want in, than you should just take what you get
