I got an offer to move to another store, but it's too far from me. It's too bad too, b/c I'd be a lot more respected there. Oh well. >.<

Me and Mike are the only kids in our club, and I'm one of like 3 girls. It's all good though. The guys respect me, and I respect them.

I am the only teen also. Well there are some college students, so they may be 19 or so. But I am for sure the youngest.

there are some kids younger then me that come with their dad, it's cool that they are getting into the hobby too, and they even know what they are talkin about. It's pretty impressive.

That's what they say about me, b/c I look 12 not 16. Customers at work are always impressed that I know so much, and ask things like "are you the owners daughter?" and whatnot.

It's kinda cool to be the youngest in the club; people like to give me stuff because of it.

Do tell us your new tank plans please.

I would say cook the LR you have now; no lights, nutrient source, etc for a loong time (or just remove from water altogether, lol). Any of the rocks w/ coral on them you could manually try to nuke the aips present. Then, use the barren rock for your new tank, along with some "fresh" pieces. Just my thoughts.

(PS - you have another email)

It's the opposite with me. No I don't go to reef clubs, but a lot of people think I look a lot older than I am. Many people think that i'm college aged.

Ditto that. People at work have often asked me what my major was in college.

Hehe, people never get my age right.

When I'm actually dressed up for like a party or something people think I'm older.

When I'm in typical clothes, which is a leotard with chalk all over me, people think I'm 13ish.

I love eating off the kids menu. :P

That also might be your hight, because gymnastics impacts your bones in a serious way, stunting growth.
BTW, I'm also the only teen member of my club, though there are some people with "family memberships" who have younger kids that they bring with them to meetings.

I feel your pain, Liana - I'm 5'3"...a little (unwelcome) effect of the gymnastics and swimming days.

And I know what you mean.

High 5 Kayla, High 5

I work out so much, there's no time for fat to...errr, collect? Therefore...I dont grow? Ever? I've got broad shoulders and ribs instead. People often ask me, even if I dont know them, what event I compete. At work people guess and ask, it's always a tossup between swimming and gymnastics.

I went to a new dentist once, and he asked me if I was a butterflyer--which I am...er was. Apparently he could tell I was a swimmer by just looking at me. Kinda freaky, I think.

Okay, time to finish up the darn HW. Later!

i am by far the youngest member of my reef club. there is a forum for the reef club, and another local forum, and a lot of the people on their dont know im 13, so whenever i sell anything or buy anything from anybody, they're surprised to see a little kid. i have a better setup than half of them though

Yeah, that happend to me once when I went to a doctor. She was like, "Are you a gymnast?" and I said "Yes, why." And she goes, "I knew it! I could tell from the second you walked in from your build."

I dont know whether that's a compliment or not. I have the same conversation with customers all the time too, and teachers. Scary.

Homework? Ouch. I'm so sorry. We dont start school till one week into September, but fall sports start the last week in August.

How's your Dragon Moray Eel? Is he still bothering your Moorish Idol, or did the addition of your Ritteri Anemone divide up their territories and reduce the aggression? Too bad to hear about your Linkia, by the way. When I heard you had one, I wanted to puke, too.

Mike, be nice. Please don't make me say this again. He's making the effort to learn, and that's what counts. Comments like that only serve to discouage him from posting here, and thus from learning the right way to do it.

On the other hand...new tank arrives in an hour!
