The new acro had polyps out within the hour. I'll be checking on it in the morning, I'm at my Dads.

Sorry I wasn't more clear--I didn't mean to include dwarfs in my generalization, only the larger Hippocampus species.

Mike, what are the dimensions of your 15? One thing that is a MUST is height.

So I just had a superb idea. Re do my rock work/tank completly. Take out some sand... not a lot.... just some. And end up with only using about 1/2- 3/4 the rock I have now. I would like to go with a pyramid look from the front.... but the side will show it comes out to the front of the tank almost. I will have the sides open to my sun coral on one side, and probably a brain on the other. Then fill the remianing sand bed up with yumas, and the rock work with zoos. Date-- No clue. Worries- Stress of jawfish.

I <3 you Jordo.

Kayla, I will try to steal the camera from my sister. Probably won't go over well at 8am (leaving for vacation). I've been bitten by the SPS bug. Once I get back from all these vacations, when school starts, that's when I will start stocking more of these beauties. Then I'll be able to monitor and dose Ca/Alk accordingly, and have more control over my parameters. I've had a few swings this summer, and I don't want to risk any new corals.

Everybody is jealous of Josh b/c his girlfriend is a hot reefer chick?

please, somebody lmk if i'm missing anything...
I didn't get any corals b/c I had to buy $341 worth of textbooks - gotta love college. And actually I don't think Tyler is jealous - he's a real player...

I do not have a DSB.... just about 2 inches of sand for my jawfish. I plan to remove some of it but keep enough for him to be happy.

I will take a picture before and after. Now I need some food, then I will start my project that I estimated to be about an hour so.

What kind of jawfish do you have? Pearly or dusky or what?

Lookin' forward to it.

Hey! So do I, but I have an offer to upgrade that's really tempting me.

I'm the only kid in my reef club that I (want to) know...

Okay so this isn't going TOO well to plan.

The jawfish actaully completly burried himself when I took out the rock. Trying to find him caused a sand storm. I cannot finish this project later, I have to wait to the storm to die down. I have a filter on that tank now, I have the fish in buckets with a lamp over them and heat pads under.

I will check in later. See ya!
