I'd take the MC12 over the S7 because it's a V-12 with more horsepower, more exclusivity and it's based on the Enzo.

That and I was raised around Italian and German cars (they're more sophisticated and are more technoligically advanced).

Actually, you are wrong. The 2005 Saleen S7 is a more powerful car than the Maserati. The 2005 Saleen S7 is a twin turbo producing a gut wrenching 750 hp and 700 lbs. of torque. About the Saleen being less sophisticated, the Saleen produces 107.14 bhp per litre while the Maserati only produces 103.97 bhp per litre. I would also imagine a Saleen to be more reliable even with boost just because the Maserati is Italian.

FYI, this is coming from a person with only European cars in their driveway. Well, at least until I get my car.

Let's not get carried away. Twin turbo vs. Natural aspiration. 7000cc vs. 5998cc. Imagine if that smaller V12 was twin turbo. I honestly wouldn't bring sophistication into this.

Thanks guys, and LOL no, none of those are mine; work was rather slow today...

(until one of the overflows randomly "broke" and 10 gals of water ended up all over me--not to mention the lovely electrical current that created since I was surrounded by wires!)

nite

I'd say an experience like that'd up the classification of the day's relative speed from "slow" to "rather fast" in a jiffy.
