vacation and anemone,s gone
I have a 90-gallon reef tank with a 55-gallon sump. It supports 110 lbs of LR 3 chromes 1-7" brittle star a 3" sally light foot mandarin dragnet and a 2" reddish star I don\ know the name.
4 weeks ago I bought a bulb anemone about 6It was hanging upside down under a rock since I brought it home. Between week 3 and 4 I had to leave town for 8 days. My son took care of the tank, he said that the bulb anemone just was gone after the second day also a large arrow crab was missing It’s been one week now and we have seen neither hide nor hair Could sally and the stars have cleaned them out. tests look good |

I wouldn't think so. Anemones are infamous movers. They'll move to a location they prefer where there is plenty food available, usually where there is high water flow. I would check your intakes though, if you have them in your tank.
My first Rose Anemone committed "suicide" when it got too close to an intake. You'll definitely know if that ever happened though. First there would be anemone parts floating in your water and your skimmer would be exploding with anemone guts. Just be patient and it should show itself eventually. ~ w
