Want to trade for Jendubs original "pinky "lord

I have around 20 non indo lords & micro colonies to choose from for trade for this ( some are colors that I havent seen anywhere else) along with some very rare SPS for trade. I will attach a pic of the exact one I am looking for.
Thanks, Matt

I know a couple years ago when the lord craze hit, a couple people had bought or traded a frag of this morph from Jen. I wonder if this is still in existence?

Did you ask her? There's a certain online retailer who also has it (or something very close) waitlisted. I agree with Matt, good luck!

I know a person that had a two polyp frag of that pink/green and the polyps bailed out on him

I believe the price at the time when he bought them was $800.00 per polyp...

Good luck in your search.

I talked to her about it this past summer, and it's a slow grower which is why its limited, because i was interested in it too. I did get some of her shocktart, it's cool too. check out thecaptivereef, he's got some cool nonindo's i've picked up over the years.

$800 per polyp? I wish I had that kind of money to spend on one frag. Now that's commitment to the hobby.

Believe it or not, I have 3 of those polyps , not exact, but very similar to captive reefs (BTW, I didnt pay that much).
Jendubs is very different from that morph.
Polyps are bigger & more pink than purple, If you compare the 2 pics you will see what I mean.
Thanks , Matt

well women think its normal to spend that much on a purse and then get a new one a few months later, so i dont see the problem. The more you charge for something cool the more the demand increases, its pretty simple really.
dont blame the seller.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree...Blame the seller. They are the ones pricing it. Just because a coral is cool doesn't make it rare. Just because a coral is rare doesn't make it cool. I hate when sellers add rare to things like common acans or certain zoos just to double the price. Do you know how much that awesome blue, purple, orange, pink, green, and red acan cost the importer? Same as the red and grey one. If you can't blame the exporter, the importer, and the wholesaler, there are only two places to lay blame: the retailer and the consumer. Higher price lowers demand (for most products), by the rules of economics 101. Demand decreases as price increases or supply increases.
I don't want to buy the Jendubs Acan for $800 per polyp, but I would buy it for $20 per polyp. By this reasoning, your assumptions are a little off-based. I will not go on a rant (like I sometimes do), I'll just leave it at this: blame the retailers as they are the ones up-pricing all these items. It's really sad to see there is no price gouging laws for corals and livestock. To see a pair of picasso percula clownfish now selling for $500 when they buy them from ORA for under $50 each is absolutely disgusting. Stop the destruction of our hobby by buying from people with ethical practices.

Would this woman buying a $1000 dollar purse still buy it if it were $10? Rarity can increase price, color can increase price, but promotion and hype should not.

People should not be able to make a 500%-1000% profit on something they got so cheap they could almost laugh.

Coral loos great! Just a word of advice, it is illegal to have in your possession a non indo coral. The only country that allows for the export of acan's is Indonesia. With that said, any coral that states non Indo, which is more than likely from China, is punishable by a hefty fine and including lengthy jail time. If you don't believe me, read the reefkeeping magazine from a few months ago. I don't want to see you get in trouble. I just want to inform you. I love acans as muc as the next guy, but you can get in some serious trouble! Once guy from China was caught at the airport with a home made jacket containing 80 or so pockets sewn on the inside. He was caught and received a LIFE sentence in jail.

Yes, I do. Check it out:

http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-08/ebac/index.php

If you don't want to read the entire article, select the entire doument by holding ctrl button and clickin A, and then hold ctrl button and click F. This will allow you to search the document. Search for illegal, and the second instance will be what you are looking for. Otherwise, read the entire article. It is a good article non the less.
