I just bought 2 little colonies 20-30 polyps each for $60, they are blue, bright blue w/ tan/brown skirt very similary to tubs, and one colony has morphed do to lighting conditions and has a mix of teal zoos.

Reefkingdom.com is where I got them. I bought them in person though. He normally sells for $5 a polyp but is having a 50% off sale.

I personally try to stay away from any colors with brown skirts. Once they pack in, all you see are brown from far away. Just a heads up. Unless they are larger polyp then the ones shown, I prefer not to get them.

I bought blues from Atlantis as well as FragFarmer. Tubs blues are brighter and bigger, well worth the money. Sometimes Atlantis in store pricing is way better than their posted Internet pricing.
Aquadesignz sure has nice zoas, much the site needs better updating. Their Acan Lord page is crazy though.

Here are my "Tubs" ... The blue is a very good shade and the zoo has nice depth. The are fantastic. Now that I have some .. I'm not looking for any other blue zoos ... but, maybe some RPEs or B-PPEs or PHEs or ... LOL ...

Depends on your flow, lighting, your tank's distance from the surface of the moon, etc etc. I have had two colonies of zoas for 4 months under 175W MH. One colony started with 5 polyps and is up to 22 now. The other one started with 26 and is up to 27 now.

Elite,

There's a fellow on http://www.nano-reef.com that's selling blues right now. Go to the "Classifieds" forum. I got a frag from him and I'm really happy with the price and the amount I got from him.

You're in San Jose.... So am I.... Right by Bernal. If you're all into Zoas as I am, maybe we can look at each other's tanks and maybe trade frags.

Have you bought the PHE's? I would of though after all that has been sold, someone would of complained about their color. I just can't see paying 20 dollars a polyp for them. I'll either trade for them or wait till they drop down cheap. They all eventually do.

They're $35 a polyp. Maybe I'm calling it a scam without proof, but I haven't heard ANYthing about them, up or down. But NO zoo is as bright as his photo shows. (Don't start posting all about that and get the thread even MORE off-topic...Just look at the pics. Brightness/contrast is WAY up.)

I think the tubs for $20 a polyp is crazy. It has a brown skirt. The blue center is nice but not worth the $20 a polyp with the brown.

Yeah... Everything at Atlantis is overpriced. People that pay $20 a polyp for a brown-skirt blue are just ...ehh, weird...
