How do you rid your tank of Mushroom Coral?

Ive got red mushroom corals that are spreading out of control. Does anything eat them or is there a good way to get rid of them?

Thanks

Very, very hard. An angel might eat them but then again would eat ohter corals too. And might not eat them anyway. I've resorted to concentrated kalk squirts like for aiptasia. But didn't always work as it is hard to get into their mouths and they retract when bothered.

You could cut as much as you could get off of the rock in one piece. Then cover the stump with kalk paste or epoxy.

Save your self the trouble and sell the rock if you dont want them in your system. The smallest piece will always come back.

Mojo's right... they're the spawn of satan... i've juiced, kalked, calciumed, alked, buffed, Tech M'ed, b-ioniced, cut, chopped, etc... SELL THE ROCK!(or cook it) Planting other corals over them and starving of light doesn't help either! They grow long stems and reach for light... Just bought a large angel hoping to eat everything so I can start from scratch everywhere... then... off to the next tank! (same with xenia!) ...NEXT!
