My Lithophyllon Chalice right after it had something to eat. I should really try and get a better picture.

Nice picts greg. Hey is that with the zoom lense or just the regular lense? You might want to play with the f/stops to get a better focus on the whole chalice.

I've seen all three of the above animals and they are outstandingly beautiful. I have dibs on the first frag of the third.

Here's my Chalice that was a gift from Fish2223.I know it looks like the lighting is making it blue but it really is very blue on it's own.

Sweet shots Greg and a nice camera to boot. I gotta get me one of those macro lense

Mario,

Nice chalice collection. That blood red has really grown. Mine has survived 2 tank crashes while most of my collection has died. That shows you how tough that one is.

Sorry for my ignorance, but when you guys refer to chalices are you talking about echinos or oxypora, or is it a general term for both?

Yup that challice is a tuff one and grows some what fast. Wish my watermelon grew that fast. I have lost some realy nice once when my 20g lps tank crashed a while back. Good thing I had the 90g going other wise I would have none right now.

Generally, the term chalice includes both and more, such as mycediums. Echinos could refer to either Echinophyllia or Echinopora. And there might be other as well.
