AM, my 58 has been BB since late June 2004 ... 1.75 years.
About 5 weeks longer than I've been married

Here's an even older pic of my BB, before the Monti nudibranchs

DANG I love this tank. It is so unique compared to the "norm". Little rock, very open arrangement, and a concentration on a small number of corals to grow out into big colonies rather than ton of corals that need to be kept bonsai'ed. I can't wait to see this tank 2-3 years down the road.

I was thinking the same thing, I'm all about growing out colonies and not fragging so much!!!!

Thanks!

FYI: Camera is Nikon D70S with 60 mm macro lens on the closeup, no flash.

Full tank shot with Canon digital rebel I borrowed.

Just wanted to revive this thread. I'm thinking about going bare bottom on my next tank and wanted to see some more examples of what an established BB tank looks like. Since i plan to stare at this thing a few hours a day, it had better be appealing to my eyes. From what i've seen on the new BB tanks, they don't look very eye appealing to me. However, i'm willing to sacrifice that if in the long run their looks improve once established. So, please.....show off your established BB tank!!

Wow, Travis. That looks great. I was wondering how your tank was doing.

The tables and caps are getting a little out of control huh?
