tank is a 5x2x2 150g about 6 months old

mimic tang 4"(i have had him for about 12 months)


red sea purple tang 4"(ive had him about 12 months as well)


and my achilles 5.5"(got him from my bosses wife who had him for almost 4 years)

Sohal is in 144 hes being moved to my 400 soon ,just moved vlaminigi from 144 to 220 sohal being a bully ,they were togther for 3 years now they want to fight but sohal will win hes 16"long.

This is not a Powder Brown, although they are commonly sold under this incorrect common name. The correct common name is Japanese or White-Face Tang. The scientific name or your fish is Acanthurus Japonicus.

The Acanthurus Nigricans is a true Powder Brown but is much less hardy than the A. Japonicus.

A. Japonicus and A. Nigricans Differences
