They look great. Three feet of depth must be wonderful.

Obviously you're going to do what you want to do as far as your livestock goes so I won't pile on about your choices but I recommend that you do the following to the system if you want to keep these fish happy and healthy long term:

1. Get better filtration. Based on the amount of algae growing all over everything you have a nutrient problem. Granted, fish can survive in "dirtier" tanks than corals but it is better for them health wise if the nutrients are kept to a minimum. Not know what you use for filtration besides your skimmer I can't advise on how it can be approved.

2. More flow. Tangs generally come from area of the reef that get the highest amounts of flow so they are used to high levels of water movement which = higher levels of oxygen in the water. Some powerheads may help with this.

That's it. Good luck with the tank.

Just curious, where did you see algae? Maybe I missed it.

thanks for your concern and ideas. I have owned all of the these fish besides the big naso and the swallow tails over two years. All have doubled even tripled in growth and have colors beyond belief. If these fish were in less then healty conditions they would not have grown at the rate they have.
