non-hardening silicone
i need to replace the main seal on a sequence hammerhead pump and it calls for a non-hardening silicone. i already have this . its silicone o ring lube. is this the same stuff? if not what exactly is non-hardening silicone

you can get it at the auto parts store, it's intended to go in spark plug boots as a moisture barrier, looks like a clear toothpaste and called Dielectric Silicone Grease

as a lube or gasket?
They have non-hardening silicone at an autoparts store used to make a gasket. But that's not the same silicone used for spark plugs. The silicone for spark plugs is a lube/conductor. |
