What is the blue with green tips that you just posted? Is that the utlimate blue stag?

Marco9 - yep, that's it. Unfortunately I cannot take a pic of the coral without shading it from light. It's really hard to capture it's color intensity because of the location in the front of my tank.

greg, INCREDIBLE and inspiring as usual! also, can you tell us about your water params and photoperiods? (alk, ca, mg, sg, temp, blah,blah,blah). sorry for all the questions

I am running 4 Lumenmax Reflectors. I will soon be adding 1 more to run 2 – 10k and 3 – 14K bulbs.

Because of the huge fish load (35+ fish) I feed daily. Most days I feed a combination of Spectrum regular and small fish pellets. Those pellets are soaked in Warner Marine ReefPure Vitamin/HUFA Supplement. The whole mixture is dumped in the tank. 2x per week I change up and feed Cyclopeez. The tangs continually forage on the rocks.

Water changes are 2 – 2.5 gallons/day to make up from 2 – 2.5 gallons/day of skimmate. I skim wet.

I do no other water change like most reefers as to not disturb the stability of the tank parameters.

The skimmer does not run when all the tanks lights are on (6hrs). Since I feed at this time the skimmer does not really do much work anyway. This also helps keep tank temps down.

I also run PHOSaR and carbon in fluidized media reactors.

I only test alk regularly, approx every 3 days.
alk: 9-10 dkh
ca: 410-420
mg: 1400
sg: 1.025
temp: 77.5 – 78.5 (temps are currently being raised to prepare for the summer heat)
